The 10th Annual Geneseo Bark In The Park has almost arrived!
Today is the last day for online registration. Hurry over to our shop and sign up for the One Mile Walk (With Or Without Your Dog). Or order an extra T-Shirt. The store will close at 4PM this afternoon.

For those who have already registered, you can pick up your packet early. Beat the rush and come see us on Friday 12 October 2018 at Geneseo City Park (at the pavilion near Center Street). We will be starting at 4PM and will be there until 7PM.

There are so many new things to share! We have updated the information for our 10th Anniversary Event, and we are pleased to share information on the speakers that will be helping us out this year.
Karen Russell (HCHS President) will be speaking on the status of the new shelter. The new shelter is much more roomy than our previous location, and we are looking forward to telling you all about it.
Sargent Chavez (Geneseo Police) will be speaking on National Night Out Dog Walker Watch. This is a program which is aimed to enhance the partnership between police and community while walking your dog.
Angie Hall Of QC CAN will be speaking on “What Is A Therapy Dog And What Do They Do?” You have probably heard of service dogs, but therapy dogs (and their human partners) are something different. And something special.
Alexis Weber (Alexis’ Doggie Spa, LLC) will be speaking about “Fun Activities With Your Dog/Getting AKC Titles”.
Have a chance to meet Sonja Benavidez & Amber (her Cardigan Welsh Corgi). They won the American Kennel Club (AKC) Exemplary Companion Dog award for 2017.
We are pleased to announce more details on our 10th anniversary event.

As previously announced, the Bark In The Park will be held on Saturday, 13 October 2018. Events will be starting at 10AM at the Geneseo City Park. During the day, there will be presentations on pet related topics, kids games, vendors, and pet contests.
Registration is now open for the 1 mile dog walk (starting at 11AM). Do not have a dog but would still like to participate? Everyone is welcome to join! Go to https://shop.henrycountyhumanesociety.com/ to register for the walk and to choose your T-Shirt. Are you not able to join the walk, but still wishing to support the shelter? No problem! You can also order T-Shirts at our shop.
